WorldPTA Solidifies Its Global Vision During Bearing & Power Transmission World Meetings 2025

Second General Meeting Marks Milestone in Association’s Growth and Global Structure

Istanbul, Türkiye – May 24, 2025 – The Second Annual Meeting of the World Power Transmission Association (WorldPTA) took place during the Bearing & Power Transmission World Meetings 2025. With attendees from over 40 countries, the event became a cornerstone moment in shaping the Association’s global scope, core purpose, and general structure.

Held as part of the closed-door Annual Meeting, the WorldPTA session brought together steering committee members, founding delegates, and international stakeholders to further define the association’s mission: building a platform that connects all segments of the mechanical power transmission (PT/MC) industry, value- and supply chain.

Building on the historic foundation laid at the inaugural 2024 meeting, the 2025 session focused on strategic alignment around membership structures, governance, continental representation, and the development of key working groups for business expansion, innovation, and sustainability.

The transformation of WorldPTA during this occasion reflects the growing need for a global voice, capable of addressing the industry’s shared challenges and opportunities, from sustainability, digitalization and supply chain resilience to quality assurance and workforce development.
